Ilim Group said that over the first six months of 2011 its locations in the Northwest of Russia (the Company's Branch in Koryazhma and Ilim Gofra corrugated board plant in Leningrad Oblast) have manufactured 530,000 of pulp and paper products — 8% above the performance during similar period in 2010.

The European Commission has today unconditionally approved UPM-Kymmene Oyj’s acquisition of Myllykoski Corporation and Rhein Papier GmbH ("Myllykoski"). Thus UPM has obtained all required regulatory clearances for the transaction. The target for the final closing of the transaction is in late July - early August.
