Noting that the electricity paper bill will be eliminated nationwide on 23rd Sept. this year, the Minister of Power said, "The personnel of the distributing department will be active in other departments of electricity departments after then, and there will be no disruption to their field of activities."
According to ISNA, attending the ceremonies of Vessal elementary school in Kan for the newcomers before the noon at the beginning of the academic year, Reza Ardekanian told the reporters, "The electricity paper bill will be replaced with electronic bills and SMS for the subscribers on 23rd Sept."
Emphasizing that the implementation of this plan will prevent the cutting of 12 thousand trees a year to print paper bill of electricity, he continued, "Around 300 billion Tomans will be financially saved by merely not printing the paper bills every year. Based on our planning, we have decided to distribute 100 thousand educational packages among the students of deprived region with the funding saved from this plan."
Pointing out that we will also pursue this project in the water sector, Ardekanian added, "The personnel of the distributing department will be active in other departments of electricity departments after then, and there will be no disruption to their field of activities."
In another part of his remarks, referring to the end of the water year of 2018- 2019, the Minister of Power said, "The suitable precipitation of the recent year has caused to experience a far better condition to supply drinking water, health and agriculture this year."
As per the Ministry of Energy, he stressed, "According to the Meteorological Organization, in the new water year which will begin from tomorrow, the rainfalls of the autumn will be in normal conditions; of course we hope to experience more effects than having a wet year by the institutionalization of the habit of reasonable water consumption among people."
