The cultural commission spokesman of the parliament announced the formation of a committee in the commission to investigate the paper crisis and said, "Some responsible entity for paper throw the ball of paper crisis in one another's court."
In an interview with Tasnim News Agency parliament correspondent, Fatimeh Zolghadr, the cultural commission spokesman of the Islamic Republic Parliament, announced the entry of her commission into the paper crisis and said, "The USD at 4200Tomans exchange rate is not provided for the real consumer of paper."
She added, "The commission members have already had meetings with the Industry, Mine and Trade Minister, the Culture and Islamic Guidance Minister, the Economy Minster and also the other officials on this issue in order to investigate the reasons for the emergence of the crisis in this field and on the ways to solve it."
Stating that the responsible authorities have announced that they are trying to bring the paper in the list of the basic commodities and supply it with the exchange rate of 4200Tomans, the cultural commission spokesman of the Parliament, continued, "A committee has been formed to investigate the paper crisis."
Emphasizing the created crisis in the field is related to the supervision weakness of the relevant entities, Zolghadr added, "There has been created little coordination among the responsive bodies in the field, and the relevant ministries have not correctly fulfilled their duties in the field of paper."
She stated, "Unfortunately, the responsible entities throw the ball in one another's court. On the other hand, the paper mafia seems not to have been out of the market, and the paper is not provided for the real consumers due to abuses of the market."
The cultural commission spokesman of the Parliament said, "With respect to the importance of the issue, we will discuss the paper crisis in the board meeting of the commission so that it will re-enter the agenda of the commission."
