Stora Enso said that it will modernize two board machines (BM 2 and BM 3) and chemi-thermomechanical pulping (CTMP) plant 2 at its Fors Mill in Sweden to improve quality and pulp production.
According to Stora Enso, the upgrade project is a EUR 29 million investment.
Work will begin this year and the company expects the BM 3 and pulp plant projects to be completed in January 2008, and January 2009 for BM 2.
When completed, the modernization will moderately increase the mill's production capacity, Stora said.
