The trade between Iran and China increased by 24% to over 24 billion USD in the first 8 months of this year.
According to Mehr News Agency quoting the Iran-China Chamber of Commerce, the Chinese customs authorities announced, "The trade between Iran and China has faced an increase of 24% in the first 8 months of this year compare with that of last year."
The trade between Iran and China, which amounted to 19.5 billion USD from Jan. to Aug. 2016, increased to 24.17 billion USD from Jan to Aug this year.
The China's exports to Iran and imports from Iran have remarkably increased during this period.
China's export to Iran from Jan. to Aug. 2017 rose by 18.1 % compared with the same period of last year and reached at 12.04 billion USD, while it was 10.2 billion USD during the first 8 months of 2016.
China's imports from Iran also increased significantly because China's imports from Iran was 9.3 billion USD during the first 8 months of 2016 which increased by 30% to 12.13 billion USD in the first 8 months of this year. Oil is the main imported goods from Iran to China.
