The 23rd International Exhibition of Food and Agricultural Industries was inaugurated in Baku with the participation of 100 companies from 28 countries including Iranian companies on Wednesday evening.
According to IRNA, Ilham Aliyev (the president of Azerbaijan) and Merban Ali Ava, the first vice president visited the stands of different companies at the exhibition center in Baku on the first day of the fair.
Moreover, several Iranian companies such as "Pars Khusheh Pardaz", "Electro-steel", and " Pars Agricultural and Livestock Holding" displayed different kinds of their manufactured products at the exhibition.
Shop refrigerators, a variety of industrial fridge and water dispensers, pistachios, saffron, milk powder, modified starch, emulsifiers and stabilizers used in dairy, meat, and carton industries were the products supplied by the Iranian companies at the International Exhibition.
The CEO of Pars Khusheh Pardaz, Mohammad Reza Keshkaran said, "The manufactured products in our country are very appropriate for the consumers in Azerbaijan and the regional countries from the aspect of quality and price."
He added, "The products of Iranian companies are more reasonable and have higher quality on the markets of the region regarding the geographical proximity and lower freight costs compared with the other countries."
Massoud Nikzad, the representative of Pars Agricultural and Livestock Holding, Stating that the Azerbaijan Republic is the entrance gate to the regional countries including Russia and Ukraine, said, "We are planning to have an evaluation and a survey on the markets of the countries in the region by participating in the exhibition."
Companies from Poland, Russia, Kazakhstan, Italy, Belarus, Azerbaijan Republic, Greece, India, Hungary, Spain, Belgium, Latvia have displayed the products their food industries, agricultural machinery, and the relevant services at the Baku 23rd International Exhibition of Food and Agricultural Industries which will continue for three days.
