The deputy managing director of Mines Affairs of Lorestan Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization announced the issuance of 3 licenses for paper making from calcium carbonate factories.
According to Mehr News Agency, in presence of reporters, Jamal Mumivand pointed out that there are 90 mining of river sand in Lorestan and said, "There are 30 mines of mountainous sand in the province."
Expressing that provincial cutting stone workshops export their products to 20 countries, he reiterated, "Provincial stones, especially those of Asasang and Arasang factories, are exported to Australia, Europe, and the USA."
Emphasizing that a special viewpoints in the section of mining has started in the province to follow the development of the province in respect of minerals, the deputy managing director of Mines Affairs of Lorestan Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization added, "Since the beginning of the year, 3 licenses have been issued to establish 3 units of paper making from calcium carbonate."
Mumivand noted, "The second manufacturing factory of paper from calcium carbonate will start by ground-breaking after Yazd province."
