Brazilian pulp manufacturer Aracruz Celulose reports that it will postpone the implementation of its extensive Guaíba II, Veracel II, and Minas Gerais expansion projects due to the slowdown of the gobal economy.
The investment planned for the new pulp line in Guaíba is to be suspended for at least one year. In addition, Aracruz wants to temporarily shelve the purchase of land and the development of forests for the Veracel II and Minas Gerais projects.
