The portfolio includes Circa Carton, a coated recycled board for folding cartons, and Circa Carrier, a high-strength carrier board engineered for demanding packaging environments.
Clearwater Paper said the launch broadens its ability to serve customers seeking recycled grades while complementing its premium SBS products across a wider range of applications.
Partnership expands market access
The new paperboard grades are manufactured by Greenpaper, a privately owned Mexican producer specializing in paperboard made from 100% recycled fiber.
Greenpaper recently invested in a state-of-the-art recycled paper machine operating under a circular manufacturing model that transforms post-consumer recovered fiber into new packaging materials.
By combining Greenpaper's manufacturing capabilities with Clearwater Paper's commercial network, customer support and distribution infrastructure, the collaboration is expected to expand access to coated recycled board for independent converters throughout the United States.
