ASV Packaging specialises in the production of folding cartons for the food and consumer goods sectors, trays, displays and shipping bags. The company runs three packaging plants in Châteauroux, Le Mans and Valence and employs 200 people.

The takeover reinforces Hinojosa’s footprint in France, where it now operates seven production facilities. These include one paper mill, three corrugated board plants as well as the three newly acquired folding carton plants. Hinojosa Packaging is also present in Spain, Portugal, and Italy. The company now runs a total of nine folding carton plants and considers itself one of the leading providers in Europe in this sector. Overall, Hinojosa operates 25 plants and employs 3,000 people. Annual sales amount to €795m.

Hinojosa Packaging has been growing steadily in recent years. The most recent takeover in France dates back to 2021, when the company acquired Allard Emballages. This was followed by capacity expansions in Spain and – last year – the company’s entry into the Italian market through the acquisition of MS Packaging. This year, Hinojosa also acquired the Spanish company Envases Toledo.
