SHANDONG BARON PAPER CO.,LTD, the former is SHANDONG TAISHAN PAPER MILL, established in 1977, which involves pulp and paper making, paper conversion, electricity generating and heating supplying and technology & science research. It is a large-scale company, including 3 ancillary companies now. There are 1500 employees, and 468 engineers and technicians among them. The company covers an area of 450,000 square meters, total assets are 1,500 million RBM Yuan. The paper production capacity is 300,000 tons per year, and is the only company that their main products are Light Weight Coated Paper in China. In recent years, the company has completed 218 large or small technical innovation project. At the same time, the company imports more than 488 sets(suits) advanced paper equipments from USA, Germany, Finland, Sweden or Spain. The company has a complete set of workshop which produce straw pulp 100 tons per day, and a set of mid-sect waste water workshop which can treat bleach waste water 30,000 tons per day;; also the company invests more than 60,000,000 RMB Yuan to make a workshop which deeply treat the waste water 4,000M3 per day, this project will be completed in 12th, 2005, after this the COD of the waste water can be reduced to 70mg/l. the company of course has a good environment benefit and economic benefit. The gross investment is 67,300,000 RMB Yuan. After started from year 2003, it can generate energy of 104,500,000Kwh per year. The project has good energy-saving result and remarkable economic benefits. The main products are as follow: LWC paper、offset、cast and coated、top-grade writing paper、art printing paper、computer typing paper、xerograph paper、tissue, etc. Products are sold in all parts of China, and as well as in Japan, USA, India, Singapore,Iran,Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, and etc.
